Established, well backed Fintech is moving to its next stage of growth involving extensive new development to re-architect the React UI (with Redux and Node.js back-end) and Java based core platform from a monolithic (WebObjects, Tomcat Postgres) based Architecture to into a fully scalable, modern application architecture (Back end is based on Java 11, Spring Boot etc., Microservices etc.) which is both high performance and highly functional.
They need an experienced React Developer with Redux (preferably side effects), Javascript (typescript) Developer with several years Javascript including a couple of years on React preferably with some knowledge of Node and certainly and interest in learning it and understanding of the whole architecture. This isn't a role for a javascript hobbyist, they are looking for a UI specialist who has created advanced applications and an understanding of architecture (eg Saga). The role will involve writing some Unit and Integration tests making Jest and Enzyme useful.
Great growing team with the opportunity to set the technical direction of the front end of the product. You will be working with some leading names in React, Java and OO technology in what is already a successful firm but with its real, exciting growth expansion ahead of it.
