Application Manager, Finance & Control (Controlling) - Bussels - English/French/Dutch speaking
One of our important clients is looking for an Application Manager, Finance & Control (Controlling) in Brussels. The day rate is negotiable.
Your mission
The Finance & Control department of the BU Benelux has built a centralized team in charge of ensuring an appropriate design of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems to insure efficiency of the business processes, their smooth integration with the back offices and financial data production all that with a safe control environment end to end.
As member of this team you will report to the Process & Data Manager Finance & Control (Controlling) and will be in charge of:
- Managing the existing IT-applications portfolio in Management Accounting & Controlling in accordance with the governance rules, the process rules and the data models defined by the Process & Data Managers:
- defining, planning and monitoring IT application availability and quality
- ensuring a correct use by providing training and functional user support
- managing the user access rights
- capturing, assessing and prioritizing new needs and application change requests
- managing the master data and operations (closing procedures, data loads, interfaces, )
- setting-up the measures to deliver user reports in line with the Group requirements and instructions
- Collaborating actively in the design and the execution of IT projects or major change requests within Finance & Control
- Building an expertise in Business Intelligence for the controlling processes and the Datamodelling

Your profile
- Bachelor degree in (applied) economic sciences or IT sciences
- At least 3 years of experience in design, implementation and integration of information systems and general project management and/or IT-application management and/or business analysis in Management Accounting & Controlling
- Knowledge of the Group's finance organization, rules and regulations is an asset
- Understanding of the performance drivers and economic information capture issues for the Utilities businesses as well as for the services businesses
- Thorough knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence
- Excellent communication skills
- Stress-resistant, assertive and autonomous
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch both in speaking and writing
