Devops Engineer (Italian speaker) urgently required for interesting contract in Italy, Rome
6 month rolling contract based in Italy, Rome
The Devops Engineer (Italian speaker) will be Responsible for the following:
* Pro-actively work with the team to improve the process of building and deploying new software updates across all test and production environments.
* monitoring and fixing application, compliance and vulnerability issues
* troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production issues
* Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts and components with variety of build and deployment automation tools, including but not limited to: git implementations, build runners (eg Jenkins), deployment automation, AWS IaC (infrastructure as a code) scripts, docker.The Devops Engineer (Italian speaker) will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Linux system administration
- Experience in DevOps and automation tools (IBM UrbanCode/uDeploy, Jenkins, Git, Chef/Puppet, Nexus) preferably on public or private cloud infrastructures (Amazon AWS, Azure, VMWare)
- Experience with Docker, kubernetes, openstack
- Experience in Compliance and SIEM tools such as BigFix and QRadar
- Experience Scripting specifically with Bash Shell.
- Strong understanding of the application stack (HTTP protocol, load balancing, proxies, REST, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM DB2 Relational Database in HADR)
- Welcome knowledge and experience on IBM Workload Scheduler
- Experience with Java language, J2EE and Scripting languages is plus
- Excellent communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skill.
- Italian Language is Must.
