VMS VAX Senior Developer - Willingness to share his/her knowledge on VAX VMS and groom the development team
My client is looking for a strong VMS VAX Developer to do the following
Ability to understand complex systems, workflows, create documentation, and groom the team.
Experience in Level 2 & Level 3 Support activities analysing and correcting the issues with in defined SLAs.
Able to provide RCA and suggest permanent solutions to the frequently occurring incidents.
Strong knowledge of modules like DCL/FMS/DEC Forms in Open VMS
Experience in Cobol programming using Open VMS System routines.
Hands-on in Cobol lexical functions/logical.
Working experience in handling FDL/RMS files with in Open VMS.
Job scheduling, monitoring of jobs on VTOM Scheduler
Code version control using CMS
Setting up of data dictionaries and copy books using DATA RETRIEVE.
working knowledge on database systems like RDB, Oracle RDBMS.
Knowledge on VMS Debugging processes and flows.
