Description
The Regulatory Control team have responsibility for calculating and reporting Commercial Banking Risk Weighted Assets and Capital Positions, along with provision of P&L and Balance Sheet data for the purpose of Funds Transfer Pricing.
This role requires the successful candidate to manage month-end routine to deliver regulatory capital reporting of the trading book.
The Finance Manager's responsibilities include:
- Managing RWA (CCR and CVA) & EEL data processing and calculation
- Managing delivery of robust MI for counterparty credit risk and market risk
- Liaising with Finance Business Partner Shared Services Team to input to Flash positions
- Managing a robust control framework for all processes within remit
- Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from stakeholder requests
Requirements:
- Professional finance qualification or qualified by experience
- Deep understanding of CCR regulation
- Good understanding of relevant business systems
- Ability to use and manipulate spreadsheets, produce formatted charts and use advanced formulae and pivot tables
- Demonstrable experience of RWA/COREP, Process Improvement and Stakeholder Management
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance manager from a financial services background to work with a large financial services organisation in Edinburgh on an initial three month contract with the possibility of extension.
