Front End or Back End developer? Hopefully a you're a Back End developer if your reading this and if so, please do read on, I recent influx of business has resulted in our client in urgent need of a Node.js Developer with a very strong JavaScript background.
You'll be working for an international client that is a very strong presents in the Broadcast sector on a new project! You'll ultimately be developing software to work with VoD, STB & over the top applications.

Key Accountabilities
- Designs and implement of Video Head End Architecture
- Performs vendor selection, due diligence and research
- Performs configurations and implementation of VIDEO HE environments
- Perform integration of Media Playout/Media Streaming
- Supports capacity and planning modelling against requirements
- Works independently on assigned components as component owner with all Video and Media delivery systems vendors
- Write and manage test cases towards test/release management
- Actively participate and coordinate tests to verify new platform/component functionality
- Assist affiliates in setting up operational procedures to run/implement new functionality
- Provides knowledge transfer
- Provides handover documentation
Expertise
- JavaScript ECMAScript 2015
- Node.js, NPM
- RESTful
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of animation techniques. In-depth understanding of CSS3 animations.
- Familiarity with Server Side technologies and Back End frameworks
- Version control software Git, Gerrit
- Atlassian Jira.
- JavaScript unit testing, QUnit, headless testing.
Bonus Abilities
- Practical knowledge of some frameworks and libraries like Backbone.js, ReactJS, LESS, SASS
