Description
Data Migration Engineer - SQL Server/C#. Market-leader in their ECommerce sector requires an individual who has come from either SQL Server Development or DBA background with some C# Coding experience, OR a C# Developer with strong SQL Server, to work alongside new clients, take their data and migrate to the company's SQL Server platform. This is an initial 3 month contract in central London and the client requires someone with minimum 2-3 years SQL Server experience and some experience of C# Coding, with good experience of working on Data Migrations.
Total core skills for the role are:
- SQL Server - Proven track record of migrating data projects.
- Some C# coding - Somene who has has worked with C# (or Java) and can understand/code, as clients current systems can be written in it.
- Stored Procedures
- SQL Commands
- SQL Queries (good understanding of what an efficent Query is)
- Tables
- Comfortable talking with clients.
- Nice to have - ECommerce environments/projects
