SAP ABAP BI Developer - English Speaking - Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Start: 4th February 2019.
6 months + Contract.
Our client in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is looking for an SAP ABAP Developer with experience with ABAP BW development.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in coding ABAP within the SAP ECC environment according to the standards and creating and maintaining BI reports.
* A drive to support, design, create innovative and sustainable (SAP) solutions.
* Possess good communication skills in English.
* Responsibility for your own and team goals.
* Familiar with frameworks for IT management and service management, such as (ITIL), (ASL) and (BiSL).
* Knowledge and experience in working with Agile (Scrum) and Lean methodologies.
Nice to have:
* Knowledge/Experience in one or more of the following SAP modules: PI, Workflow, FICO, MM, Realestate, VIM, GRC.
* Knowledge of financial products.
* Knowledge and experience in Code quality and test automation within SAP Solution manager.
Role:
As a Senior ABAP Development Engineer within the SAP team you work on the next generation applications. You analyze, design and develop/configure within the SAP ECC and BI module. For example, you are part of the team that makes cost reports in SAP BI and builds/maintains new solutions in ABAP code within the SAP ECC landscape. You work as a Development Engineer in an Agile environment and you have an active role in a scrum team.
* Define solutions based on the wishes of the stakeholders
* Writing, implementing and maintaining ABAP code within the SAP ECC environment
* Configure, implement and support reports within the SAP BI module
* Continuously improve test automation, implementations and operational tasks
* Solving production incidents together with the team
* Continuous improvement of software development, code quality according to current standards
* Collaborate with various components within the bank to achieve the best result for our clients
* Implementation of test automation and DevOps culture, processes and tools
* Helping each other with incidents/configuring processes within SAP modules other than their own specialism
