Description
Leading Global Financial based in Dublin City Centre requires a Middleware Specialist for an initial short-term contract.
The plan is for this position to convert to a permanent role after an initial 3-month period. You will join an existing global team and work in the Middleware space (DBMS, Web server, WebSphere Application Server) You will have proven experience working in Server Admin/Engineering roles with strong Windows skills (Citrix, XenApp)
You will be joining and extensive transformation project, moving from manual deployment to total automation. Experience with Java Application Servers would be ideal alongside Windows. You will have solid experience supporting issues, executing batch with build and deployment knowledge
You will have people management skills and be accountable for team and vendors (which are in India and Ireland). You will be responsible for interfacing with business partners and stakeholders for support so solid business acumen and communication skills essential.
