Job Title: Test Manager
Location - Dublin, IE
Term: Contract position

Job Description:

Roles and responsibility:

  • Managing the projects by performing requirement analysis, creating Test strategy, Test designing, documentation and reporting.
  • Engage with PM with respect to project schedule, estimates, costs, RAID items, roadblocks, etc.
  • Gather and Interpret Business, Functional, Technical & Service Acceptance Requirements to form the Estimation and Plan for Functional & Automation End to End testing.
  • Create detailed Functional & Automation Test plans and work breakdown structure plans to illustrate resource allocation and scheduling tasks.
  • Create Functional and Automation Test effort Estimations.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts from the assigned area being automated using UFT/Selenium/Devops as the primary Automation tool.
  • Participate in regular meetings with upper management to communicate accomplishments, plans and issues as well as any risks to the project's progress
  • Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and manage project risks.
  • Work in an Agile and Waterfall development, service delivery environment
  • Collaborate with service partners and suppliers to deliver projects to high quality, on time
  • Prepare test closure report
  • Track and manage metrics such as Test effectiveness, Test coverage, Test productivity etc.
  • Support and Guide the team member on application queries
  • Provide Walkthrough to the business and dev team on Test Strategy/Approach and Test closure
  • Review the different Test phases to ensure smooth deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain Test schedules, track and forecast project costs and labour hours, and managed project risks
  • Maintain the project status always in green, experienced in project quality audits.
  • Support for the Testing proposals.
  • Sign off entry and exit criteria for components for which they are responsible
  • Manage Stakeholders- working closely with the PMs to ensure expectations are met
  • Provide status reports and updates
  • Ensure knowledge is recorded and shared
  • Ensure appropriate test processes and methodologies, implementing enhancements wherever appropriate
  • Perform Technical Analysis
  • Conduct defect analysis and product quality assessments based on functional defects.
  • Provide Weekly and Project Closure Reports and thresholds.
  • Support and Co-ordinate team onshore and offshore
  • Recommend and implement new and innovative approaches for Testing.

Must Have Skills:

  • To manage the Testing team to ensure the deliverables meets the client requirements and the specified quality and timeline parameter.
  • Strong Experience with Automation tools Selenium (Webdriver, IDE & Grid), Client UFT, SoapUI and any other Automation toolsets.
  • Strong Understanding of Automation testing and End to End Application Systems on Pre-Prod environments
  • Provide solutions to enhance exiting automation framework and should be capable of creating new automation framework like BDD, TDD, Jbehave, Cucumber, POM (Page Object Model), TestNG, junit, Apache POI, hybrid, Keyword Driven and Data Driven.   • Understanding of SDLC, Testing methodologies, Test Management, Defect Management, Test Metrics/Reports, Test Planning, Test estimation and Test closure.
  • Experience in handling large Testing team

Job Description:

  • 12+ years of experience (Ideally from a Banking Domain)
  • 2+ year's test automation experience
  • Very good exposure in test management, execution and defect reporting
  • Very good verbal and written communication
