Description
We are looking for a SQL Database Developer / Support Engineer to join our international and dynamic team.Your main responsibilities:
- Primary technical contact for our customers
- Supporting the operation of our software and server
- Understanding and analysis of different web systems/services (SOAP, REST etc.)
- Developing new SQL connectors for the upper systems on top of our Logical Data Warehouse product
What you bring to us from the professional side…
- Several years of professional experience in the software development company
- Fluent English and business communication skills are a must
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of SQL / Procedural SQL, understanding of common software technologies and principles (cloud computing, software deployment, Databases, ...)
- Experience in working with the REST and SOAP web services and the HTTP protocol in general
- Experience in JavaScript
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience in standard development chain like Maven, JIRA, Subversion, GIT, Jenkins
- Understanding of the internal SQL engine / RDBMS mechanisms
- Knowledge of following technologies/languages: XML, XPath, XQuery, JSON, CSV is a plus
- Basic programming languages knowledge (Java,JavaScript,Angular,...) or tech writer experience is a plus
- Experience in standard development chain like Maven, JIRA, Subversion, GIT, Jenkins
