Tech Lead/Developer (FinTech B2B start-up)
I have an exciting opportunity for a Developer with Tech Lead ambition for a FinTech B2B start-up to join me leading client in Amsterdam, within the financial sector. This offers a 36-40 hour week offering a 12 months contract, with extensions.
- Are you an experienced software engineer with AWS knowledge using RDS, EC2, ELB, VPCs, and CodeCommit?
- Do you have experience in writing Back End web apps with Python and PostgreSQL, ideally with the Django framework?
- And do you have experience with AngularJS or willingness to learn?
If you answered yes, then this could be the perfect Project for you.
In addition you should ideally have;
- Experience as a Linux administrator using CentOS 7
- Experience in writing Back End web apps with Python and PostgreSQL, ideally with the Django framework
- Experience working with and implementing REST and SOAP APIs
- Have at least a basic understanding of Android hardware/software
- Have good understanding of networking
- You are fluent in Dutch and English - written and verbal
The Project:
- As a Tech Lead you will focus on the tech proposition of the initiative hence you will use your full stack developer/DevOps experience to deliver value for the next phase of the project. This role requires a true all-rounder, as the core responsibilities will be running the AWS-based infrastructure, writing Back End code/scripts, and potentially making minor changes to our Front End.
- Additionally you will be responsible for conversing with the technical teams at our device partners and performing technical due diligence with new potential device partners to ensure that we will be able to integrate their devices with our platform.
- You need to be comfortable working in a very fast paced start-up environment and be willing to take on anything technical that comes your way.
