BO BSS Engineer - configuration/Integration
We need an experienced Back Office RAN troubleshooting/configuration/Integration Engineer, with Good experience with Huawei tools such as U2000, Weblmt, Nastar, FMA and PRS.
You will be responsible for maintaining the normal operation of RAN network and services in a way to fulfil Managed Services SLA's and KPI's commitments.
Requirements:
- European Union or NATO member citizenship, for later Security Clearance application
- Technical University degree in Computer science or Telecommunication or similar;
- 3-5 year experience within telecommunication environment;
- Strong Knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE architecture, interfaces, functions and protocols;
- Able to work independently, self-driven, highly motivated, service minded and seeking to improve and expand own technical skills;
- Excellent team spirit;
- Good communication skills and knowledge sharing willingness;
- Capable to work in an international environment, with a proactive and committed attitude towards all the network related issues;
- Be able to prioritize tasks, self- motivated, able to perform under stress and carry the responsibility;
- Available to be involved in On-call activities;
- Good experience with Huawei tools such as U2000, Weblmt, Nastar, FMA and PRS;
- Experience on troubleshooting and configuration on BTS3900 and BSC6910, in a SRAN scenario;
- Good Knowledge on IP (ATM and TDM networks is a plus);
- Good Knowledge of radio propagation principles and antenna systems;
- Able to communicate fluently in English (official business language). Danish would be a plus;
- Basic network KPI understanding
Plus:
- 2 years of specific experience as RAN Back Office/Integration engineer on Huawei RAN equipment;
- ISSTAR knowledge is a plus;
- Huawei PICO-site knowledge is a plus;
- Knowledge of SS7 analysis tool such as Osix Polystar.
Responsibilities:
Back Office RAN Engineer is responsible for maintaining the normal operation of RAN network and services in a way to fulfil Managed Services SLA's and KPI's commitments.
As second line support in the Huawei Network Operation Center, with your proactivity you will be a key player in ensuring the good availability and performance of the Radio Access network according to the customer requirements.
As a technical referent, you will provide technical support to the others departments as well.
As part of the BO RAN team your main responsibilities will be to:
- Handle and analyze Trouble Tickets within the SLA;
- Handle and perform Change Requests;
- Execute second level Preventive Maintenance of network;
- Customer complaints resolution;
- Support Field Activities as well as other departments of the company
- Notify Customer and Update Reports;
- Remote Deployment of new software updates;
- Support Service Problem and Incident Management;
- Integrate event related temporary sites
