Business Objects and Business Intelligence Reporting Expert - Brussels

For this role, you should have at least 5 recent years of relevant experience with a focus on capability to produce clear and structured reporting documents and knowledge of web technologies fundamentals.
Your role
. Provision of expert advice and assistance in Business Objects (BO), BO Universes, Data warehouse, Business Intelligence, Excel, Incident and Problem management (ITIL)
. User testing of new releases of Business Objects and their Universes.
. Assistance in the implementation of a single point of contact
. Risk analysis, user feedback analysis
. Provision of expert advice and assistance on reporting
. Drafting of new (BO and Excel) workflows, queries, diagrams and user guides
. Synthesise reports based on data extracted from other output sources (BO, Excel, ABAC)
Your qualifications
. Master degree (equivalent to 5 years of higher education after secondary school)
. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
Your knowledge and skills
. Good knowledge of Business Objects and Business Intelligence
. Good knowledge of Excel
. Capability to produce clear and structured reporting documents, including graphs
. Knowledge of web technologies fundamentals
. MS Office tools (including advanced features like pivot tables, templates, forms, etc.)
Skills considered as an asset
. Knowledge in financial management business
. Knowledge of SQL
. Knowledge of EU financial regulations
. Knowledge of the eGrants suit
. Knowledge of public procurement procedure business
. Knowledge of ABAC
. Knowledge of Data warehouse technologies
. Knowledge of IT service management tools (incident, problem, change management)
. Knowledge of Macros
. Fluent in English. French is a great asset
