As a Research Officer within this organisation near Portsmouth in Hampshire, you will contribute to the vision of improving decision-making and informing debate through high-quality, easy-to-use statistics and analysis.
This is a contract role initially, running until . The role is paying £140.00 per day, 37 hours per week (flexi-time).
This role is ideal for a graduate. Successful candidates will be working on a range of research, statistics and analysis projects. This organisation uses a range of primary social research methods, including large scale surveys, continuous and ad-hoc surveys and qualitative/quantitative methodologies.
You will join a team of professionals working together using a range of statistical, analytical and research techniques, on a wide variety of exciting and challenging tasks involving data analysis (eg statistical analysis).
Relevant Qualifications Skills and Experience:
A first or second-class honours degree in a subject including formal statistical or social research content (eg Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Sciences, Business Studies, Psychology, Geography, Data Science or similar)
Or
* A higher degree eg an MSc or PhD, in a subject including formal statistical or social research content (eg Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, Business Studies, Psychology, Geography, Data Science or similar)
This role require a security clearance, so candidates need to have resided in the UK for at least three out of the last five years.
