Hadoop Administrator
Exciting opportunity for a Hadoop Admin to join a dynamic team supporting the programming team in an enterprise environment!
We are looking for a strong Hadoop Admin who has experience providing operational support for data science, BI and ETL within an enterprise organization. Responsibilities entail platform installation/upgrades, troubleshooting and management of security and change control for HDP and HDF.
This is a 12 - 18 month contract role located in Midtown with close proximity to Marta train station! Excellent opportunity for a long term contract opportunity!
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Hadoop administration for an enterprise organization
- 2+ years experience with HDP administration and installation
- HDF
- Hive and/or Nifi
- Administrative background within a Linux and Unix environment
- Experience with log monitoring, cleanup, cluster monitoring, deployments, production support and performance tuning
PREFERRED:
- Hortonworks HDP Administration certification
- Hadoop architecture experience
- Amari, Ranger, Kerberos, Knox, Atlas ect.
- Hortonworks DPS (Data Plane)
