We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable an SAP FInance Consultant.

Responsibilities:-

The service is there to control Change Request and projects lifecycle including: Analysis, Build (customizing), Design Functional specification for ABAP developer, Unit test, Coordinate UAT with user, cut-over activities and Transport to the production environment.

Service deliverables
  • Build, Test and Deploy Change Request in SAP landscape.
  • Document Change Request following Roche Standards (ServiceNow, HP ALM, Windchill and PMM methodology).
  • Coordinate users for Analysis and UAT for Change Requests.


Competencies required for the service:
  • Solid professional experience in SAP Finance, more than 8 years' experience (8-12 years)
  • Most of it in Projects (implementations, roll-outs and upgrades).
  • Part of it in Support (incidents and change requests).
  • Medium - long assignments to each customer (between 6 months and 2 years).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiar to work with virtual teams (off-shore).


Excellent Knowledge (must have):
  • Finance: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Assets Accounting (AA) and Taxes.
  • Finance month-end close activities.
  • Treasury: Bank accounting. Electronic Bank Statement (format MT940) and new electronic payments formats (SEPA, MT101 and ACH) and collection formats (SEPA, RIBA, …).


Good Knowledge (have):
  • Familiar with SAP Country version for each region
  • Understand and coordination with other teams Integration with E2E logistics flows: (plus Intercompany Flows)
    • Order to Cash
    • Procurement to Pay
    • Plan to Produce


It is an Extra (could have):
  • Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) (open text solution)
  • Treasury: In-House banking (IHB)
  • ServiceNow experience for Incident and Change request
  • HP ALM experience for Requirements and Testing
