We are Loupedeck, the creators and manufacturer of the Loupedeck photo and video editing console for professional image processing. Our passion is to empower users of all skillsets and provide them with an intuitive, ergonomic way to edit their photos and videos.
It's an exciting time to join Loupedeck. We are accelerating our momentum and strengthening our leading position with a range of new devices build around the original Loupedeck. To help us grow and to achieve our next milestones we are now looking for a talented and open-minded Embedded Software Designer.
Reporting to the Head of Products, your role requires driving, designing and developing the Embedded Software (FW) for Loupedeck devices. To succeed in this position, you must have a strong background in Embedded software development. This role requires that you have knowledge and working experience with hardware systems, as you will be working closely with the Hardware Development team, in the production and testing of Loupedeck's system design.
What we expect from you?
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering or other relevant area
- A proven track record of 5+ years of Embedded Software development
- Experience of Windows application development
- Experience of Embedded Hardware systems
- Knowledge in following areas:
- Coding: C++ and Embedded Real Time OS, serial interfaces (eg I2C, SPI, USB), Bluetooth, UI development (eg emWin, TouchGFX)
- Tools: GIT, Bitbucket pipeline, Google Repo tool, JIRA, Jenkins, Eclipse, Segger
- Methodologies: Continuous Integration (preferable setting up), Agile SW development
- Target MCU: ARM Cortex-M cores, ie STM32, AVR8
- Capability to independently execute Software projects with agile methods
- Capability to plan and schedule your work as part of bigger projects
- Ability to integrate well in different project teams
- Provide support for customer service
- Fluency in English
- Interest towards photography and/or videography is a benefit
