Description

Commercial Manager required to work with a Central Government Department based in Leeds.

This is an initial 3 month contract (plus extension), inside IR35, and paying up to £400 per day.

As a Commercial Manager you will be involved in leading procurement and contract management activity for office solutions contracts across the Ministry of Justice which include stationery, post and courier, print and document storage services.
Key duties of the Commercial Manager during the engagement will include:

  • Assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery.
  • Prioritising, designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department.
  • Leading on the negotiation of contract extensions and delivering a number of call-off contracts from existing framework agreements.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to implement standard contract management practices for key contracts including robust governance and performance management.
  • Acting as primary point of contact between the incumbent suppliers and the department.
