Pay Rate: Up to €400.00 per day
My client is a dynamic, growing and ambitious consulting IT services firm. Who are currently looking for a Contract Software Engineer to join a busy EU office in the multicultural Belgian City of Brussels.
Specific Expertise:
- Minimum 9 years of professional experience
- Python with DB NOSQL (Elastic search) and/or Big data (Spark, Hadoop, map reduce)
- Numpy, pandas or Scipy
- Java, SQL and NOSQL (in particular elastic search, spark/Hadoop)
- Linux scripting with a focus on data processing utilities: grep, awk, sed, cut and sort
Skills/Knowledge:
- Design pattern knowledge
- Hands on experience with development of medium-large projects
- Programming experience with object oriented technologies
- Git hands-on experience
- Web development
- Docker
