Hello,On behalf of our client we are currently seeking the services of a Python Script/ Test expert for a long term contract which can be performed fully remotely.
Terms:
• Duration: 12 months
• Location: Remote
• Capacity: Full-time up to 40 hours per week during Monday to Friday standard business hours
Responsibilities & day-to-day activities:
• Architect automation solutions for customers to solve their needs
• Build, deploy, and maintain web and mobile web automated tests, using the client’s custom built framework
• Use Python scripting to automate test case
• Manage CI infrastructure to execute and debug tests
• Perform root cause analysis for issues uncovered by test results
• Perform peer code reviews of automated tests
• Provide technical feedback to engineering teams
Required Skills and Experience:
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automating web and mobile web apps on all common browsers
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, manual testing or a development role
• 3+ years of experience in using Python for automation scripting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience with continuous integration systems
• Responsible, team-oriented, self-starter, proactive with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience with an IDE (e.g. Eclipse, IDEA)
• Experience automating Web Service/API testing
• Experience with an Agile/SCRUM development methodology
• Experience in the Automotive industry in a QA or Lead/SDET role
• Experience automating iOS and Android applications with Appium
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery/Deployment processes
