Python Developer - Amsterdam based
We are currently seeking an experienced Python Developer willing to work with our major IT services company located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Specification of skills required;
1) Strong Python developer skills:
- Significant Object Oriented python experience is mandatory;
- Practical experience with industry standard tools and python libraries:
- Git;
- Jenkins;
- Setuptools, tox, nose, virtualenv, flake8, pdb, paramiko, vspk;
- Experience with a python SDK is a plus;
2) Strong Linux skills:
- Deep knowledge of Linux tools and mechanisms:
- Advanced bash programming; standard tools like netstat, ssh, lsof, strace, nc, jq;
- Networking: TCP/UDP/ICMP-IP stack; tunneling; tcpdump/wireshark; HTTP, REST, JSON.
- Core linux principles: Kernel, libraries, processes/threads, signals, services;
3) Deep experience in Linux-based virtualization techniques:
- Fluent with core Openstack services (nova, neutron, glance, cinder, heat, keystone, horizon);
- Knowledge of Nokia Nuage is a plus;
- Understanding of low-level virtualization elements and concepts: qemu/kvm, openvswitch;
- Guestfish;
4) Experience in working with databases: knowledge of SQL. Experience with Postgresql is a plus;
Knowledge of Nokia Nuage SDN is a plus.
Knowledge of Nokia SROS7750 Service Router is a plus: VPRN, VPLS; BGP.
Knowledge of Cloudify is a plus.
Knowledge of Ansible is a plus
