DATA CENTRE TECHNICIAN - LUXEMBOURG - CONTRACT
My client, a stock exchange, is looking for a Data Centre Technician on a contract basis in Luxembourg.

Role purpose
This position coordinates and performs data centre works as a service provider for our internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage data centre works on-site
- Coordinate and perform adds, moves and changes in data centres with service providers, dc-operators and internal customers
- Maintain data centre documentation with FNT Command
- Provide On Call 24/7 Service every second week for hands-on support in datacentres
- Support planning of data centre resources and capacity
- Plan, coordinate and perform cabling works in data centres
- Plan and perform cabling in office buildings
Required Skills
- Knowledge in network and data centre topologies as well as active and passive network equipment
- High experience in performing IT cabling works high availability data centre environments
- Communication skills, team orientated philosophy, willingness to learn permanently and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- High levels of integrity and discretion
- Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Outlook and Microsoft Office skills
- English Fluent AND French Fluent OR German Fluent
