Description

A government department in Canberra requires the services of a Visual Communicator.

Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for presenting information including roadmaps, service maps, visions, experiences, and other complex information in simple to understand visuals for a variety of audiences, including Government Ministers, Senior Executives and stakeholders.
They will work with other subject matter experts, to discover the right content and present it in a way that is visually appealing and makes sense for people to understand.

Selection Criteria:
Experience in interpreting, synthesizing, visualising and documenting content
Experience using both graphics and/or text to convert content into an accessible and useful format for a range of audiences (including infographics, information flows, roadmaps, service maps etc)
Ability to work within a cross-functional team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
Experience working in federal government sector
Proficient in Adobe suite products including in Design and Illustrator

The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen with Baseline Clearance prior to commencement.
