Network Security Professional - Palo Alto Networks - Firewalls - IDS/IPS - Singapore
Marshall Wolfe are proud to be supporting a multi-award winning security consultancy in their search for a high calibre network security professional with a strong background in Palo Alto technology. You'll be working on-site as the resident SME with one of the consultancies financial services customers based in Singapore.
You will provide expert support, analysis and research into complex problems and processes relating to deployed Palo Alto Networks technology and equipment. Your function is as the Palo Alto Networks Subject Matter Expert (SME) and you will interact directly with the customer's personnel.
This is an operational role rather than a project implementation role and you'll have;
- Solid hands-on operational experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and security architecture (cloud/platform/end-point)
- Good experience in IDS/IPS (intrusion detection/intrusion prevention)
- Demonstrable networking experience
- Must be able to liaise with the project engineering team and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication
- Orchestration/Automation skills in PAN technologies is desirable
- Solid Scripting experience
- Financial sector experience is desirable
