IT Consultant - MSI Packaging, SCCM Deployment

Job description

Required for a a contract role in Sweden, an IT Consultant to work with MSI packaging and SCCM deployment.

Our customer is asking us for a contractor to work with creation, test and delivery of solutions for software distribution based on MSI packages. The contractor will also provide 2nd level support to users globally.

What you'll do?

  • 2nd line support and administration of desktop solution based on Windows 10
  • Create, test and deliver solutions for software distribution based on MSI packages
  • Follow strict processes, checklists for developing packages and deploying them based on customer requirements
  • System analysis on clients
  • SCCM application deployment, reporting and logs investigation
  • 2nd line support for End User Computing Products and Services
  • Assistance with upgrading and improving packaging procedures
  • Perform Quality Assurance on MS installer packages

Required competence

  • Strong Windows 10 and Windows 7 background
  • Experience in client and server troubleshooting, driver installation, software repair, registries
  • MSI packaging knowledge
  • SCCM application deployment knowledge
  • Strong logic and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think logically and analyze complex problems
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize your own work. Quality mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
