Title: Server Engineer - Unix
Duration: 12 - 24 Months
Location: Columbia, SC
Daily responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for the implementing of security and compliance solutions in support of all LOB's using the BigFix deployment tool when applicable.
- Product Ownership-Create and maintain product roadmaps/lifecycle
- Will support both automation and manual deployments based on experience, but most of the work will be on manual side
- Maintenance work on a regular basis
- Create Compliance Documentation
- Project Efforts
- Disaster Recovery Plans
- Assist with HW/SW inventory
- Vendor relationships
Required:
- Prior IT experience in an organization larger than 10K users
- Extensive knowledge in RHEL 6/7, Solaris 10/11 and BigFix deployment tool or equivalent (SCCM)
- AIX - Nice to have
- Prior Compliance Experience
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday (8 AM to 5 PM)
- Maintenance are at night and weekend, so candidate must be flexible to work overtime needs or weekend shifts.
