Quality Control
Location: Campinas, Brazil
Rate: $20 per hour
Duration 6 months + Possible Extension
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
*Work closely and connect with Manufacturing, internal Quality - attend all key production and quality meetings.
*Work with supplier on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Monitor Corrective Action Implementation at Supplier to Resolve any Deficiencies identified by the Audits/product NC.
*Resolve NCR generated on material delivered to production or site and customer issues and track Cost of Failure (COF) and recovery for all supplier confirmed NCRs and customer issues.
*Assure supplier is complying with CTQ specification requirements for process capability data analysis.
*Conduct Quarterly Supplier Scorecard Quality reviews.
*Work closely with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
*Work improvement on the top 5-10 supplier quality issues impact the site in quality, severity, and cost of Quality.
*Develop supplier performance tool to drive supplier quality monthly reviews & QMRs.
*Work with Global SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) team to establish quality plans and Firewalls/poke yoke processes at top issues suppliers.
*Conduct Audits/product NC
*Connect with supplier on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation and monitor
*Be responsive and support corrective Action Implementation at Supplier to Resolve any Deficiencies identified.
Qualification
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
*Proven 6+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, Engineering or plant operations.
*Proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
*Fluent English

*Auditor experience
*Quality and process control experience
*Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing process evaluation
