Description

Our public healthcare client is currently looking for a Communications Officer to work on onsite in London.

Communications Officer - Contract - 2 months - London - £25-£30 per hour

You will be responsible for supporting and improving current reporting processes, liaising with our workstreams, suppliers (where appropriate) and the Technology team to ensure members get the information they need on their individual procurement activities. In addition you will support the external communication of our membership activities and our results.

You will lead in the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications projects, including events, campaigns, consultations on high profile issues. You will commission, write, edit, proof read, coordinate complex internal, external publications, leaflets and advice documents; write press releases, articles. You will lead in anticipating, responding to media enquiries, briefing journalists. You will provide reputation management advice and media advice/training to senior managers, decision making bodies.

Skills/Experienced Required:

  • Experience in working on both internal and external communications
  • Working across multiple channels which a large audience
  • Knowledge of public sector communications and strategy
