Description

My client, a property management company based in South West London is looking for a Lift Inspector to join their team.

This is a full time, temporary ongoing contract and the successful candidate will have a full professional qualification and experience in a similar role.

The purpose of the role will be to work within a team, providing professional lift engineering service to maintain reliable and safe lift services.

Candidates must have a Driving License, a minimum of HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4 in a mechanical engineering discipline and an evidence of continued professional development is desirable. A relevant degree would be beneficial.

The role involves:

- Preparing risk assessments.

- Responsible for day to day management of the lift maintenance contract in ensuring that the requirements in the contract are being carried out to the highest standard in delivering a reliable and safe lift service.

- Undertaking detailed investigations, make site visits, carry out surveys, and diagnose faults.

- Writing specifications and schedule of works for lift repair works, refurbishment and replacement contracts.

- Procurement and tendering requirements

- Managing revenue and capital budgets, and approving costs from Contractors.
