Network Security in general
- Provide analytical support for incident & problem resolution and prevention
- Ensure the infrastructure is configured to be effectively managed, consistent and reliable
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Deliver technical expertise in support of security IT systems, applications, and associated technology environment
- Investigate assigned problems through to resolution or root cause
- Monitor progress on the resolution of known errors and advising incident management team on the best available workarounds
- Assist with the handling of major incidents and identifying their root causes
- Interface with internal security-related organizations (ISRM) as well as third-party vendors as a liaison between client and vendor
- Handle service requests to other involved IT resources
Firewall/Ring Fencing solution
- Assisting the Service Provider and IT Partners with technical clarification and investigations
- Supporting the Service Provider and Network Connectivity team with operational troubleshooting activities if needed
- Engineering and documentation of technical ring-fencing solutions and intake decisions
- Analyzing the current rule set and configurations of Firewall systems, estimate risk and provide recommendations for rule/configuration cleaning
- Providing support to the customer network and security teams with development and implementation of agreed/standardized configurations and rules to Firewall systems
