Job Description:
Position: Network Security Firewall Engineer
Location: Prague, CZ
Job Type: Contract
Mandate Skills: Palo Alto Firewall experience
Responsibilities:
- Network fundamentals including the OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4/6
- Linux fundamentals including iptables
- Configuration and management of network equipment, including Switching-, Routing- and Tunneling solutions
- Implementation of ether-/port-channeling, routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
- Understanding of complex network designs especially Cisco environments including LAN, WAN and DC solutions
- Redundant and scalable networks providing Backup- and DR solutions
- Networking & Security including configuration and troubleshooting of solutions
- Certifications such as CCNP or similar, CISSP or similar
- Vendor certifications such as Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer, Tufin Certified Engineer
