Description
THE ROLE:
As a Quality Engineer you will be required to:
* Work to ISO9001:2015 and customer specific standards
* Maintain and update Quality Management Systems
* Utilise core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, control plans, process flows, SPC and FMEA
* Deal with customer concerns
* Identify and resolve problems utilising 8D and 5Why
* Ensure supplier quality is up to required standards
* Measure progress made and deviations from expected levels of quality
* Promote right first time attitude focusing on proactive quality measures
* Heavily involved in promoting continuous improvement activities
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Quality Engineer will have:
* Proven track record of working in a similar role with an Automotive environment (either Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier)
* Well versed with IATF 16949 or ISO9001:2015
* Ability to offer solutions to complex issues
* Excellent communicator across all levels
* Commercial acumen
* A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
* Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
