We are looking for a Service Desk Application Assistant to work for a multinational client in Amsterdam
Role specific responsibilities
The Service Desk Application Assistant will need to acquire a solid, in-depth knowledge of the applications, in order to provide prime support for users and will receive training on these applications.
Educational and experience
- Secondary Education and at least 3 years of professional experience as IT Service Desk Assistant;
- Previous experience using a document management system.
- Previous experience using Atlassian JIRA Service Desk management tool would be an advantage;
- Previous experience in any of the following technologies at a low to medium level would be an
- Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications such as MS Office, Windows 7 and 10, Internet Explorer v.11 and/or later, Adobe suite;
- Working knowledge of operating systems and software applications such as Mac OS X; Filemaker would be an advantage.
- Good patience and an ability to provide training and guidance.
- Gathering the customer's information, analysing the symptoms to determine the customer's issue, and confirming what the customer is trying to accomplish;
- Resolving straightforward and simple issues;
- Perform user provisioning (create, modify and deactivating);
- Investigating more elevated issues using more advanced technical troubleshooting and analysis methods;
- Seeking and applying known solutions related to such more complex issues;
- Relevant professional qualification in IT Service Management (Foundation Level) would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English
