Big Data Consultant/Hadoop Consultant - Telecoms - Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce
Big Data Consultant with hands on experience of Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce by a telecoms company based in the Netherlands (The Hague).
The role is a contract opportunity based in the Netherlands at The Hague. This is a rolling 6 month contract with opportunities to extend for the right candidate
Key Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of overall experience
- Strong hands on implementation experience with Hadoop/HDFS/MapReduce
- Experience with Hbase/NoSQL or similar technology.
- Experience with Oozie, Zookeeper, Flume, Sqoop
- Knowledge of syslogng and SNMP
- good exposure to Java and web Development,
- Must be able to guide on the solutions, implementation, performance tuning for existing implementation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills and enjoys a collaborative environment -
- Must exhibit a passion for big data technologies and a flexible creative approach to problem solving
