Embedded Software Engineer

Contract - 6-12 Months
45-65 Euros p/h
Headquartered on the High-Tech campus in Eindhoven and with locations worldwide, my client is recognised as a benchmark in digital imaging, developing high-tech cameras to deploy into Healthcare, Space and Security. They are constantly expanding their R&D team and looking for a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to assist in advancing their pioneering technology.
As an Embedded Software Engineer you will:
- Contribute to the architecture and design of products developed by my client.
- Achieve the conversion of stakeholder specifications into effective algorithms and communication protocols.
- Primarily design and develop C/C++ code for their products on an Embedded platform under Linux.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or the like.
- Excellent level of applied knowledge with C/C++ in Embedded systems.
- Experience in developing low level Embedded code for Linux and Windows.
- Experience with image processing is a must.
- Knowledge of optics/machine vision/digital imaging is highly advantageous.
