Data Warehouse Developer- Multinational Bank
An exciting opportunity exists at a multinational bank for a Data Warehouse Developer with extensive experience in working with ETL development methods and best practices. Our client is currently replacing four Legacy data warehouses as well as implementing new regulatory requirements related to Credit Risk.
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
Duration: 6 months rolling
Daily Rate: Markets Rates
Your Role:
As the Data Warehouse Developer, you will be required to position yourself as a dynamic software engineer with an ETL specialisation. You will be responsible for all build, test and operation activities of your track within the data warehouse, Finance, ALM or Credit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand the platform and quickly and efficiently solve potential problems, while working with other specialists to propose solutions for complex problems.
- You will expand the platform and are able to quickly and efficiently solve potential problems
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience as a software engineer in a BI/data warehouse environment
- Experience in the financial sector, especially the banking sector
- Knowledge of and experience with ETL development methods and best practices, related at the Informatica suite, or knowledge of and experience with BI-related test methods
- Thorough knowledge of SQL, experience with SAP Hana is an advantage
- Experience with data modelling techniques (data vault, dimensional, relational) and implementation in various databases
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment, including use of GIT.
- Knowledge of and experience with working in Agile/Scrum projects
- Demonstrable communication skills
