Interim Credit Controller

Job Purpose
To assist in with the collection of aged debt.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact clients through phone calls, emails, and letters to ensure invoices are paid in line with agreed client payment terms.
- Maintain an accurate record of client communications/chasing activity on the accounts system.
- To resolve disputed invoice queries and escalate any issues to FD & SCC
- To assist in any legal action required for unpaid/delayed payments.
- Allocate client receipts onto the accounts system.
- Send out monthly statements.
- To ensure KPI's are met for debtors days, cash collection and aged debt profile.
- To have a weekly debtor review meeting with FD & SCC.
- Undertake account reconciliations as required.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
Skills/Attributes
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
- Competence in Microsoft office products namely word and excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience of accounting software and banking systems.
