Senior Regulatory Project Manager - Paris

For this role, you should have at least 2 recent years of application management experience with a focus on managing regulatory IT projects and European regulatory data reporting frameworks.
Your role
Project Management:
. Initiate, plan and coordinate the execution of projects, and deliver the expected results within agreed scope, budget and time frames;
. Be responsible for the management and proper use of allocated project resources, such as human resources (internal and external), budget and procured services;
. Manage and maintain good relationships with external suppliers;
. Participate in EU work groups to report project progress and present and collect feedback on main artefacts for the IT systems (such as business requirements, functional specifications, XML schemas etc);
. Liaise with other internal stakeholders (eg IT architecture, information security, IT operations) to ensure alignment with IT architecture and compliance with non-functional requirements and policies;
. Adhere to the project management methodology (PM2) and be responsible for the delivery of mandatory project artefacts;
. Plan and coordinate quality assurance activities for project deliverables;
Application Management:
. Take on the role as application manager of some IT systems in production, which mainly includes participating in the problem-solving activities of reported incidents, answering to end-user requests, planning and coordination of new software releases
Your knowledge and qualifications
. University degree (BSc) in computer science, computer engineering or business administration or equivalent;
. Minimum two years working experience of application management;
. Good knowledge of the financial markets, preferably experienced in managing regulatory IT projects and European regulatory data reporting frameworks (such as MiFID, EMIR or similar financial sector regulations);
. Project management certification (Prince2, PM2, PMI, or equivalent);
. Experience in managing and motivating a diverse team (ie effectively planning, monitoring the progress of work, providing guidance and setting direction);
. Experience of the main phases in a systems development process (ie analysis, design, development, testing and deployment)
