Description

Business Analyst required for our Swansea based Central Government client on a 3 month initial contract + extensions.

Responsibilities;
  • Support delivery of products, services and outcomes ensuring the delivery of high quality digital services using the appropriate agile methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Support delivery ceremonies such as planning, stand-ups, meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demonstrations of deliverable and other delivery related meetings are effective and fully support delivery
  • Understand the Agency's technical strategy and assist in the identification of opportunities and benefits, design and appraisal of solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvements and benefits delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior/middle management and key stakeholders ensuring appropriate strategic direction.
  • Continually ensures that a shared understanding is established amongst the development team of the business requirement and how it is met by technical solutions. Maintain that understanding throughout the management of new requirements and changing priorities, ensuring that all relevant parties are aligned, there is adherence with strategic goals and that it will benefit the user. Ensures the continuous review of development work to ensure the developer is interpreting the requirement correctly.
  • Facilitates agile workshops and discussions to effectively gather fit for purpose business requirements.
  • Analysing data to recommend service improvements and make informed decisions.
  • Establishing functional and non-functional requirements and documenting them appropriately


The successful candidate will have recent experience in a similar role, with strong stakeholder management skills. Public Sector experience is also preferred however not essential.
