Resource 1 is in need of a Business Systems Analyst for a position in Elkridge, MD. Ideal candidate will have solid BA/BSA experience in an enterprise IT environment, working on projects related to data integration, data warehousing or ETL. 80% of this position will be in support of integration projects, while 20% will be in support of application development projects. Primary responsibilities include gathering and documenting business/data requirements and creating process/data flows. Candidate will work with the Product Team to gather requirements to provide to the Development Team to build out integration between the client's products. Selected candidate must be able to anticipate problems, ask the right questions, have high energy and the persistence to drive projects. A solid understanding of relational data and experience writing SQL queries is also necessary for this position. Projects will follow Agile methodology, so selected individual should have experience creating and maintaining all related Agile artifacts/documentation, such as user stories, features, etc. Prior experience with Rally would be a plus. Candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at various levels of the organization. Experience in the healthcare industry or working with healthcare-related file types (eg, HL7) is a plus.
