Our client has a large IT organization for support and services we provide to our clients. Our client ambitions for digitalization and optimization of the provided services are high. A lot of changes are needed, along the lines of client processes. Within IT Systems the domain Distribution is responsible for the support and development of these client processes. The department CDI is responsible for CRM, Data and Integration of client processes. This concerns all storage, mutations and distribution of client data and status information. The clients are Wholesale and Retail clients. Within CDI several teams are responsible for data storage, data processing, data flows and data provisioning. This team of specialists are united in the Data Lake and Distribution teams. These specialist are working on data modeling, data logistics, data quality, data lake and data warehousing in DevOps teams. These teams are responsible for maintenance and adjustments of data flows and providing data services for systems and departments within our client.
The team: In the teams Heroix, Idefix and SelfServix, we are responsible for the set-up, development and maintenance of the Data Lake and Factory forour client (Distribution). The Data Lake is based on Hadoop in a Cloudera eco-system. The teams are dynamic and willing to learn. The team members all have their own expertise and are working closely together on maintenance, configuration, security, processes and procedures. This is structured in the chapters Business Analysis, Development and Test, to coordinate activities between teams. You are about to play a key role in the team, requiring constant interaction between the members of the team. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is capable of leading the chapter Test; aligning the test strategy and test process for all data lake teams, defining the way of working. Someone who is responsible for tool selection that fits that way of working and for integration of testing in the deployment pipeline (CICD).
