My client, a leading defense and engineering company, is looking for an experienced qualified accountant to join their finance team based in the South West. You will be joining a team of five working on one of the largest client groups in the business. The role will involve Forecasting, budgeting, Financial analysis and project reporting alongside providing financial support to the bids team. The ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant with experience of working to tight timescales alongside excellent experience dealing with varied stakeholders.

-Qualified Accountant
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to manage deadlines/workload.
-High attention to detail
-Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
-Experience of working to tight timescales and consistently meeting deadlines
-Ability to work effectively in a cross-function team and at various seniority levels in the organisation
-Experience providing financial support to bids.
-Experience supporting finance process improvement tasks.
