Accountant Role: 3 Month Initial Contract (£ per day) (Portsmouth Based)
Here at Yoh we are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to work within an industry leading Aviation and Mechanical Engineering Company for an initial 3 Month Contract based in Portsmouth. The role is an Accountant position working within the companies Aviation department to undertake the transformation of the AVC Centre where you will be reporting, building and creating reports from information drawn from SAP, BPC and other sources.
Main Accountabilities:
- AVC financial transactions for accurate and complete reporting.
- Balance sheet control and reconciliation.
- Support the provision of up to ate SAP system representing current business and contract structures.
- Production of Ad-Hoc AVC reporting.
- Support of year-end audit packs, tax packs and other group reporting requirements.
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience of working within an accountant environment.
- Part qualified or QBE Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
- Experience of audit and statutory account processes, gained through professional practice.
- Strong and up to date technical accounting knowledge, including IFR's and UK GAAP.
- Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft office 2010 suite including Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio and Outlook.
- Experience of Finance IT applications.
