PTS Consulting is working on behalf of a leading investment bank based in central London. We are currently recruiting for an End-to-End Business Service Owner to develops business service vision, strategy and objectives.

the main objectives are:

  • Sets strategy and performance objectives for the end-to-end business service.
  • Develop the end-to-end process management strategy and approach (Roles, Governance, KPI)
  • Meets with key business representatives, operations teams, development managers, research teams and process owners to communicate strategy and objectives and collect feedback.

Skills required:

  • Good technical understanding of capital markets products & markets,
  • Knowledge of organization and roles involved in the end-to-end value chain,
  • Capacity to link/articulate together matters of technical, functional and organizational natures,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience of operating industry standard IT Governance practices and standards.
  • A strong track record of delivery within a structured and regulated project environment
  • Extensive process management, design, mapping and improvement experience
  • IT Project life cycle design and implementation
  • IT performance management/metrics expertise
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and PPT.

Competencies:

  • Overseeing global and local procedures in line with IT Group standard (ITG rules) and industry standard eg COBIT, ITIL, and CMMI. This includes establishing IT Process Group to oversee the assessment, implementation and improvement of processes
  • Align the process design to the linkage of business and production plans, on defining, maintaining and validating the IT value proposition
  • Focus whenever possible an 'end to end' approach taking into specific constraints
  • In-depth knowledge of Front Office to Finance processing chains logics,
  • Minimising operational failure, by helping to devise, and by implementing, sufficient regular controls
  • Ensuring appropriate escalation to CIB IT Production Senior Management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified
  • Employ understanding gained through developed networking groups and benchmarking best practices.

Some occasional international travel is expected.
