Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major private sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Payroll Advisor to be based in Chelmsford for an initial period of 03 months with possible extension.
Job Title: Payroll Advisor
Location: Chelmsford
Duration: 03 months with possible extension
Pay Rate: £12.00 - £12.76 per hour (Inside IR35)
Job Description:
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Experience of using payroll systems to deliver a high quality service, and to manage activity with the ability to resolve employee pay queries where manual calculations. ie (over or under payments)
- Good working knowledge of payroll process including statutory payments, gross to net calculations, deductions and pension schemes.
- High standard of written communication.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver good practice and advice on policy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating empathy, listening and questioning skills to a very high level.
- Experience of working in a customer-orientated environment, dealing with a range of customer situations in a service delivery setting and continuously seeking to improve
- the services provided to customers.
