Asset and Procurement Analyst
2 Month Contract

Job purpose:
The Asset & procurement Team Leader is responsible for the IT Procurement of IT products to the business, assisting in the administration of all IT assets (hardware and software) and the invoicing & recharging cycle whilst supporting the manager and mentoring staff.
Main accountability's:
Control of all IT Procurement from order to invoice, ensuring that all procedures are followed
Ordering of all hardware and software from 3rd party vendors
Responsible for the day to day management and relationship ownership of the licensing and hardware
Hardware and License Management
Reporting and auditing - estate hardware and software assets
Prepare and manage the invoice process
Supporting the managers workload, and mentoring staff.
Working in line with agreed Service Levels
Review and identify areas of improvement in the procurement, invoicing and IT recharge processes
Monthly reporting
Skills:
Experience in customer management
Understanding of Procurement and Asset management in an IT environment
Team Leader/Staff mentoring experience
Ability to follow documented policy and processes
At least 24 months experience in a procurement and asset environment
Knowledge and expert use of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
Ability to manage and work with 3rd party service providers
Provide guidance and support to the Procurement team
Ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise calls where appropriate
Effective written and oral skills
