Site Reliability Engineer - Production support analystLocation: Leapardstown, Dublin
Rate: € per day
Length of contract: 12 months - potential to go perm or extend.
The role is working on a search renewal project. My client is preparing one digital application to be released so therefore are looking for someone with a process driven approach before releasing code into a new environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring that my client is ready to move into another environment which will cover areas like PCI, testing docs, making sure everything is clear, any incidents in production the successful person would be responsible for resolving them and explaining why it happened, ensuring it didn't happen.
This role is production readiness for the platform. You will be responsible for anything going into production, being involved in the development process, stage MPS production.
This role is procedure based work, making tweaks in the processes, standardising procedures and playbooks that help the operational teams
Skills needed:
- Someone with a technical background potentially with exposure into programming languages would be useful. If you have a technology background this would be useful as if something happens
- Familiar with supporting a production application.
- Linux, web administration, API knowledge, networking topologies, keen interest in PKI technology.
- Recommended experience/skill set: Java, production support, basic UNIX skills, security knowledge
- Nice to have: SSL, network fundamentals, administration, Excel.
