Technical Support/Helpdesk - 3rd Shift

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join a team within an industry leader in transportation industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well recognized brand nationwide.

You will provide Tier I and Tier II support via tickets requests, emails and personnel who walk up to your desk with IT issues. We are seeking a person with strong customer service skills that will support the IT Operations of this enterprise organization. You will support over 1200 users within this team, alongside another help desk support teammate. This is a 3rd shift position working Monday-Wednesday from 5:00 PM-5:00 AM and every 3rd Sunday working 5:00 PM-5:00 AM.

Techn environment: Microsoft Products, Windows OS, Unix OS, VmWare, ServiceNow. We need an IT Generalist that can help support users and personnel within this organization.

This is a 6 month contract with the strong possibility of extension located in the southside of Atlanta, Georgia. You will have an opportunity to be a part of a company that continues to grow and has strong name recognition in Atlanta and nationwide. REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years within Technical Support role (providing desktop, hardware, network and Microsoft support)
  • Windows Desktop OS
  • Experience working with a ticketing system for IT issues (ServiceNow highly preferred)
  • Experience working within a virtualized environment (VmWare exp highly preferred)
  • Ability to work 3rd shift - Monday-Wednesday 5:00 PM-5:00 AM and every 3rd Sunday of the month
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Unix OS (highly preferred)
  • Experience with Gui (Graphical User Interface) Applications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science highly preferred)
