Next Ventures are looking for a Senior Oracle Support Analyst for a role in Hungary
Key Accountabilities
- User account management request, User incidents and queries
- Focuses on proactive maintenance, root cause analysis and permanent fixes to improve application stability
- Operational Changes - Design, Build, testing and implementation of changes due to application defects Preventive Maintenance
- Work on Change Requests initiated by business/IT for any application changes that warrant any functional specification changes
- Conduct problem Investigation and perform fixes
- Resolve tickets in a timely manner and within defined SLAs.
- Work closely with other interface groups and support teams at other support levels to quickly resolve issues.
- Manage and enhance the knowledge repository with updates of resolutions and FAQs.
- Use known solutions and procedures.
- Demonstrate high level of understanding in all aspects of the Development Informatics applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with support groups from other domain areas.
- Support test, Computer System Validation and roll-out activities within planned application changes and maintain relevant documentation based on the application/business expertise.
- Ensure compliance of a GxP application's operation and maintenance during its operational life cycle as per specifications.
Key Competencies
- The role requires in general mastery oracle based OLAP tools and Oracle.
- Experience in Cegid Tool is must.
- 7+ years experience primarily in Oracle PL/SQL & DWH to work in L2/L3 support model.
- Unix Shell Scripting experience
- Excellent influencing and facilitation skills, in particular problem solving/troubleshooting activities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a resilient and flexible manner
- Is capable of becoming recognised as an expert and can develop this profile within the client organisation
Knowledge
- IT experience in DWH
- Hands on experience on Oracle Database and Oracle development.
- Hands on experience on PL/SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Oracle based OLAP tools like Cegid Tool
